A while back I've had a photoshoot of one beautiful BMW E36 owned by Markus. The car is currently waiting for a new paint job & I can not wait to see it after. Though for me, this one particular BMW stands out the most. It just has something that makes you wanna keep coming back & just simply sit behind the wheel or just stare at it.
The car itself has it's problems, otherwise it wouldn't be a car. Looking closely you could find a rust here and there, a couple of cracks or peeled off paint. I think, this is what a real car should look like. Like it has some sort of a story to tell or that even the perfect things has imperfections, if it makes sense. And so, I love this one's every inch & I always get happy when ever I this it.
The story of the car starts in the 90's, when it was built 22 years ago. It has been taking care of by Markus since he first bought it three years ago. It was his first & only car, though as he was searching for a one, first he has eyes laid down on audi, but the one he wanted was already sold. The search continued when his friend offered him to look at this BMW E36 that one guy was selling. ''I liked it at the first sight - the sound, the looks was really good", says Markus, ''I bought it immediately''.
But happiness didn't last long, as the flaws started to come in a daylight. As the years gone by, everything was repaired. The car also had FK lowering springs, bucket seat, smaller racing handwheel and blocked differential lock. Over the car existing years it has runned 286k km and the engine still works like a bee.
And for now, let's wait for summer untill it'll get a new paint job and maybe more, who knows what Markus has planned.
