You've seen it, you've heard it, hell, maybe you even touched it! Cruising around Vilnius town with clean black body, nice sounds coming through exaust and being the most beautiful PS13 in a whole country (if you seen better, which I really really really doubt, you're still lying) - the incredible hulk. Why so incredible? For same reasons I've already told. Why Hulk? Because this beast's heart is big ass & green!
The car itself looks like it's some kind of a rich boy's toy to show off around and get all the chicks attention, but but but.. I don't know if Hulk had all the chicks, but one thing I know for sure - this car makes people necks break anytime it goes out for a run.
But let's start from the beggining. The owner - Edgaras Afa, born and raised in hometown Vilnius, was a trouble kid on the block, but somehow he always found a way to survive in the jungle and do things by himself. His first car was 1994's BMW 3 Coupe, "a total bullshit car", he says, "then I had 540, after that e60 which I bought together with silvia. It was a bad month for my wallet". As Edgaras says, all that he has now is builded and earned by his own hands, "parents never supported me financially". Now Afa has two cars sitting in his garage: daily BMW 740 E65 and Nissan PS13 Silvia.
When asked what attracted him towards this PS13, Afa said that he likes to be different and stand out, "I wanted to get a nissan, but also I wanted it to be different from all the 200sx that everyone has these days, so I got PS. Look at all the lines and shapes of the body - it's an amazing car!". Also there's not much of those in our country, so I guess the owner of a Hulk really shines out. Continuing the conversation, it's obvious why he chose this car precisely. First, the outside look of it, I think, everyone would want to get it as soon as they see it. Second, Afa says, "the Bride seats attracted me as well when I was about to buy this beast in Klaipėda".
The Hulk - Nissan PS13 Silvia is 1993's production. Since buying Afa changed couple of things: he added work wheels, hsd coils, sr20det, bearing t28r turbine and lock. As you can already guess, the car is made for drifting, so I asked young pilot about that. Most of the time I get the answer "adrenaline", this time wasn't an exception either. "I don't really know to be honest", after a little thinking I got the final answer that it's the style of driving, the rush and the feeling you get that pumps you up for more and more, "because of the action, too".
Edgaras started drifting not so long ago, so his experience isn't big and he already had some frustrations - hitting the block at training day in Dvarkiemis and ruining the side of the car. As for the future goals pilot admited that all he needs to do is training, training, training... "I don't have such skills to run at ąžuolas, yet", says laughing. But with practise comes better results, right?
Talking about the future for the car, Edgaras with a shaking head stated that he won't sell the car anytime soon, "it was my dream car and I'm gonna keep it for as long as I can". I wondered if we can expect any changes in the car, "I will continue to improving it. For now it has enough horsepower, later I'll think about 2jz". He says that when he'll learn how to drive perfectly and it won't be enough of the power Hulk has now, Afa will think of something, but will never sell it, "it has my heart".
As from me, I can only wish the best luck in drift world and expect the best with the time.
